When I “hit” 250 vs when I hit 260 • -Left video: no program. No coach. Not serious about lifting. Not hitting depth or even parallel. -Right video: I have a coach. I have a program. I’m hitting FULL depth. • What these two videos have in common though is that no matter what number I squatted or how bad my form and depth were, I was still proud of myself. I’m still proud of my progress. I’ve come a long way and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. • I’m doing squat re-evals Monday to see where I truly stand since 260 felt like butter and also cause next comp I have in mind is June 8th. Hi friends 👋 Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Humbled by the love from this community 🖤 I really needed the support this week. To be completely open, I've been struggling with the work/life balance. I've had to sacrifice yet another week of training, but not only that, my weeknights and parts of my precious weekends. I commute about 3 hours daily on public trans with no WFH and it's admittedly getting harder and harder to prioritize training, let alone just to enjoy life. This year is my year - the year of the boar. I want to focus on self-care and overall well-being. Here's to turning 36 and realizing that life is too short.
