I admit, hindi ko super nasubaybayan ang #PBBOtso Teen Edition. I found the situations they were into very complicated for their ages. But in those few episodes na napanood ko, one housemate struck me - si Rhys Eugenio.
I find him cute and charming. He reminds me of Enrique during his Princess and I days. He's like, features-wise, the Sam Milby, Edward Barber and James Reid of this PBB batch. I actually researched about him, and nalaman kong model na siya prior to this stint. Guess he's taking PBB as an opportunity to introduce himself to the mainstream market.
I became his #DakilangFan after watching his TWBA guesting a week ago. I find him very polite, peppering his sentences with "po" and "opo". And I appreciate how he tries his best to speak in Filipino. Not yet sure about his talents, but for sure, matindihang workshops lang ito, he can make it big in showbiz. Nandyan na ang looks and appeal.
When I met him last Sunday, backstage of #ASAPNatinTo, kinilig ako at natuwa. Lakas maka-16. He is really gwapo, and magalang. Very down-to-earth. He really took time na chumika, even if first time lang, and medyo busy sila.
Rhys, if you happen to read this, I wish to congratulate you on PBB. You may not have been part of the Teen Big 4, but for sure, this is the start of bigger things for you. You have "it". Just continue learning. And stay humble, no matter how far this journey takes you.
